How I Can Help You

About Me

Dina Birenboim, BSc, MACP, CCC

Dina Birenboim, BSc, MACP, CCC, is a licensed psychotherapist who brings warmth, compassion, and a deeply human approach to her work. Born and raised in Siberia until the age of 15, Dina later moved to Israel, where she lived for 12 years. During her time in Israel, she completed her Bachelor of Science degree and began her professional journey as a manual holistic therapist.

For more than 20 years, Dina has worked closely with people through different stages of health, life, and personal change. Her background in holistic and manual therapy gave her an early appreciation for the deep connection between the body, emotions, stress, relationships, and overall well-being.

Over the years, Dina’s genuine love of working with people naturally led her to deepen her work in emotional and psychological wellness. She later completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and became a licensed psychotherapist.

Dina is married and a mother of two, and she deeply values family, connection, and meaningful relationships. Her own experience of living across different cultures has shaped her understanding of identity, belonging, resilience, transition, and the courage it can take to create a new chapter in life. Dina speaks Russian, Hebrew, and English, allowing her to connect with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and offer support in the language that feels most natural and comfortable to them.

Her therapeutic approach is holistic, compassionate, and individualized. Dina believes that each person brings their own story, strengths, relationships, culture, values, and life experiences into the counselling space, and that meaningful healing begins with feeling truly heard and understood. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, Dina takes time to understand the whole person. Therapy may gently explore thoughts and emotions, relationships, patterns, physical well-being, past experiences, present challenges, and the deeper meaning behind what you may be going through.

At the heart of Dina’s work is a genuine love of helping people reconnect with themselves. She believes therapy should feel like a safe and respectful partnership — a place where you can slow down, feel supported, rediscover your strengths, and move toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional well-being. Dina’s goal is not to tell you who you should become, but to walk alongside you as you deepen your understanding of yourself and create meaningful change in a way that feels authentic, grounded, and true to you.

Any Questions?

What is counseling and how can it help me?

Counseling is a safe, confidential process where you can talk with a trained professional about personal challenges. It helps you explore thoughts and feelings, gain new perspectives, and develop strategies to improve your emotional well-being and quality of life.

How long does it take to see results from therapy?

Each person’s progress is different. Some people notice positive changes after just a few sessions, while others may need more time depending on their situation and goals. Consistency, openness, and collaboration with your counselor play a big role in the process.

What types of therapy do you offer?

I provide a wide range of services, including individual therapy, couples counseling, family therapy, anxiety and depression support, trauma recovery, stress management, and grief counseling. Each service is tailored to your unique needs.

Is counseling confidential?

Yes, your privacy is my priority. All sessions are conducted in strict confidence, and information shared will not be disclosed without your consent, except in cases required by law to protect your safety or the safety of others.

How do I know if counseling is right for me?

If you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, or simply want personal growth, counseling can help. Speaking with a professional provides support, tools, and clarity that can be hard to achieve alone.

How do I get started with therapy?

Getting started is simple. You can contact me to schedule an initial consultation, where we’ll discuss your needs and goals. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan to support your journey toward emotional well-being.
